This self-paced course is designed for students who are new to the Blackboard Open LMS. It introduces participants to Blackboard Open and prepares them for taking online courses in it. Upon completion of this course, you'll be able to navigate in a Blackboard Open site; describe the basics of the Open LMS from a student perspective; identify ways that you may personalize your Blackboard Open LMS experience; recognize the features of a Blackboard Open course that are key to a successful learning experience; participate in the most common activities and resources in a Blackboard Open course; and identify how to monitor academic progress through the Open LMS.
